This is a foundation level course designed to introduce the subject of drilling and completion operations to non-drilling professionals who are new to the industry or who need to understand what the drilling industry operations are all about. It introduces the basic concepts and flow of drilling and completions in a simple to understand manner so that participants can understand in generic terms. It also explains common terms in the industry, various types of rigs, factors to consider during well planning and includes a rig
visit for participants.

No prior knowledge is required for this course; hence it is open to participants with varying degrees of knowledge and experience in the industry.
